Ines M Zemaitis APRN, DNP

Ines has been a Nurse Practitioner serving the greater Waterbury area for over a decade. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Ines worked as a Registered Nurse for the Emergency and Trauma Services at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT. In addition, she is Adjunct Clinical Faculty for Yale University, School of Nursing.

Ines received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut, graduated with Honors from Yale University with her Master of Science in Nursing, and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Quinnipiac University.

Ines serves as a committee member of the Health Policy Committee for the Connecticut Advanced Practice Registered Nurses Society. She also serves as a Medical Representative on the board of Annabella’s Angels, a non-profit group that assist mothers during pregnancy and infant loss and who’s mission is to place CuddleCots into each hospital in Connecticut to allow families to have more time with their child. Ines is also a member of the Yale Women’s Club.

Ines loves spending time with her husband and three young children. Her interests include hiking, camping, boating, yoga, running, volunteering for the BSA Scouts, mentoring new Nurse Practitioners, and striving for the advancement of nursing and patient care.

 

Ami Marshall, APRN, EdD

Before joining us at Connecticut Primary Care and Wellness PC Ami Marshall had worked in a variety of community-based settings, ranging from internal medicine private practice to community health environments where she provided primary care to underserved populations.

Ami received her Bachelor of Science from Mount Saint Mary College, her Adut-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree from Yale University and completed her doctorate in nursing education (EdD) at Southern Connecticut State University.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International: Honor Society of Nursing, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Connecticut Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Society.

Ami is also currently a Lecturer and Specialty Director for the Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program at Yale University School of Nursing. Her research interests include exploring student-centered innovative teaching methods in graduate nursing education and the implementation, feasibility, and usage of these methods in academia.
